He organized a scientific group of specialists on nonlinear dynamics,
that is well-known in Russia and abroad. Under his supervision 15 young
people received PhD degrees, two of them (Dr. A.B. Neiman and Dr.
V.V.Astakhov) are now Doctors of Sciences.
Prof. Dr. V.S. Anishchenko is an Honored Man of Sciences of Russia, a corresponding member of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Soros Professor. He has been working a lot with students, delivering them lectures on theory of oscillations, nonlinear dynamics and statistical radiophysics. In recent years he has been successfully working together with his colleagues in the field of applications of nonlinear dynamics methods in biology and medicine.
In 1999 Prof. Dr. Vadim S. Anishchenko was elected the recipient of a Humboldt Research Award. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
